Ode to the Fruitfly

Thanks to the recent infestation of fruitflies, my kitchen has been scrubbed more thoroughly than ever before. Yet somehow those little scavengers have survived. Help! Does anyone know how to kill off the little buggers. There's something unappetizing about sharing my food with them....
